PAYA TERUBONG CONSTITUENCY

Dear Voters of Paya Terubong Constituency,
First of all, I wish to thank you for lending your support to me and the Barisan Nasional government in the last general election. Your support has proved to be essential in ensuring a constant development in Paya Terubong. Now, I am very grateful to have the opportunity to represent the Barisan Nasional again for the Paya Terubong state constituency election.
Since I was elected as the Member of State Legislative Assembly of Paya Terubong, I have been working hard as I am afraid I might fail to live up to the expectation of the supporters. I managed to establish a cordial relationship with the people through daily contacts and constant engagement in solving the various problems of livelihood, e.g. housing, education, transportation, drainage and medical care. I have also become most aware of the expectation and demand of the residents in Paya Terubong through my involvement and engagement since then.
I was born in a poor family, and I used to study at school on a part-work basis. With my own experience, I am able to comprehend the various problems that affect the daily life of the grass roots. My youth experience also inspired me to be determined in serving the society.
Today, we are living in a society that is full of challenges and uncertainties. Thus, stability and security is very much demanded indeed. The existence of social stability would bring us to the increase of living quality. I have been working together with the Member of Parliament of Bayan Baru, Yang Berhormat Wong Kam Hoong throughout the years in order to bring prosperity to the area of Paya Terubong, and it is obviously seen that the various aspects of development in Paya Terubong, e.g. housing, infrastructure, traffic system, living quality, environment, etc. have shown a remarkable improvement.
I believe that voters in Paya Terubong need a representative who can well understand their problems and aspiration, and a government which can bring consistent development to the area. The policy deployed by the Barisan Nasional government has always been based on the priority and the benefits of the people. Furthermore, our new Prime Minister, Dato Seri Abdullah Badawi, has never received criticism from any parties since his succession as the Prime Minister. This further substantiates the ability and credibility of the Barisan Nasional government in leading our country for future development.
Thus, I earnestly appeal to all our dearest voters in Paya Terubong to provide me with another opportunity, by utilising the precious vote in your hand wisely. I hope to keep on serving the community of Paya Terubong through Barisan Nasional, and help bringing an enduring development of high standard to the people.
